How to Confirm the Correct BOCHU / BOCI Replacement Part Before Ordering

Replacement parts can look alike while belonging to different product families or selection records. Use this checklist to confirm the identity shown on the installed part, its package, and the relevant BOCHU / BOCI product record. It is an identity check, not a universal-fit guide or an automatic replacement recommendation.

Record these fields before selecting a product

Check Record exactly Where to check Stop and ask for confirmation when
Component family The exact family, such as Lower Protective Lens, 2D Nozzle, or Ceramic Ring Product record and the installed component The component role is unclear or the item only looks similar
Installation position or role The documented position or role, where the product record states one Installed component, package label, and product record A lower/upper or component-role distinction is uncertain
Size and thread Every number and separator, such as D34×5 or M11×0.75 Package label and product record The dimension or thread cannot be read clearly
Listed structure, profile, or aperture The complete listed value, where the product record provides one Product option and product table More than one row shares one field, such as an aperture
Original Part Number Every letter, period, digit, and suffix Package label and exact product record The Part Number is incomplete, damaged, or does not appear in one source-backed row
Listed cutting-head model The complete model token, where the product record provides one Cutting-head nameplate and exact product record A model suffix is missing or differs from the listed record
Listed power field The exact listed value, only where the product record provides it Exact product record It is the only field that appears to match

Power is a supporting cross-check only when the exact product record lists it. It does not replace the Part Number, model, position, size, thread, or component-role check.

Use one complete record, not one familiar-looking field

  1. Start with the component family and installation position or role.
  2. Match the complete size or thread.
  3. Match the listed structure, profile, or aperture when the product record uses one.
  4. Match the complete original Part Number.
  5. Match the listed cutting-head model when the product record provides one.
  6. Use a listed power field only as a final supporting cross-check.

Do not derive a Part Number rule from a partial code. Do not treat a missing record as a statement that the part is incompatible, unavailable, or discontinued.

Example: D34×5 lower protective lens

The D34×5 Lower Protective Lens product record contains six listed configurations. A complete confirmation example is:

Field Example record
Position Lower protective lens
Size D34×5-8
Original Part Number DP.V.P0005AA
Listed cutting-head model BLT682H
Listed power field ≤30 kW

This example is valid only when all of the fields match the listed row. The power value does not identify the part by itself, and a similar D34×5 item is not a substitute for the listed Part Number and model. To compare other lower-lens size families, start with the Lower Protective Lenses collection.

Example: the same nozzle aperture can still be two different records

On the M11×0.75 2D Nozzles product record, both of the following listed rows include S3.0mm:

Listed profile or specification Aperture Original Part Number
D28 BNR Single S3.0mm DY.Z.E0040AA
D28 Pressurized Single S3.0mm Y.Z.E0014

The shared aperture is not enough to select a nozzle. Record the nozzle family, M11×0.75 thread, single/double structure, listed profile or specification, aperture, and original Part Number together. The record does not prescribe material, thickness, assist gas, pressure, or a process window.

When not to self-confirm

Request confirmation instead of selecting a part when any required identifier is incomplete, when the package label and nameplate disagree, or when no single source-backed row matches all fields. Send a clear photo of the package label and, where relevant, the cutting-head nameplate. Include the exact product URL, the Part Number you can read, the requested specification, and quantity.

Contact BOCHU for product selection and part-number verification. The Contact page asks for the cutting-head model, product Part Number, specifications, quantity, and clear product photos when the Part Number is unavailable.

What this checklist does not do

This checklist is not a complete bill of materials, a public compatibility finder, a substitute for validated machine and process parameters, or a stock, shipping, certification, performance, or warranty statement. It only helps a buyer prepare an exact identity record and recognize when manual confirmation is needed.
